Michael Preiss and buddies came out aboard Sea Otter IV for a mixed bag day from Snug Harbor RI. The guys started out by catching live bait and EVERYONE participated for a change (ha/ha!). Switching to stripers they had a great run of fish with 3 and 4 on at a time. the gang nabbed their limit with fish coming over the rails to 25 pounds. Tough tide for late aftermnoon for fluking but ended ok with Steve weighing in the largest flattie at 4 1/2 pounds.

Aaron Dimunno and his friends came out to Snug Harbor for some shark fishing action. The guys started out trolling bass and blues. Switching gears to shark, it was a lsow start that quickly changed once we got rid of all the BANANAS on board! Great shark action with 7 blue sharks up to 250 pounds. We left them biting!

Wed 3/18
Lloyd Malsin and friends were out today aboard Sea Otter IV for some cod. Very tough day for the guys, around 25 fish taken. Slow fishing. Tony C. had the pool fish at 22 pounds.
Thurs, Fri and Sat trips cancelled due to weather forecast.
Hoping for better weather and a better bite, Fri 3/27 is the next opemn boat day. call 860 739-1882 for reservations.

Mon 3/16
Slow morning bite for the open boat crowd led to a very decent afternoon bite. Definately worth the effort. Tony Brodeun scored the pool winning 25 pound cod and Captain Joel got in on the action of course and hauled a 32 pounder over the rails. Some pollock too.
The next open boat day for availability this week is Thurs 3/19 then Mon 3/23. Call for reservation at 860 739-1882

Joe DaSilva and his friends were out today for a private charter aboard Sea Otter IV. The bite definately cooled off a bit today. Victor nailed a pair of 18 pounders. Some ling over the rails as well.

SAT 3/14
Bob Morell and his crew of 11 anglers chartered Sea otter IV taoday for a private charter out of Snug Harbor for cod. Awesome day with the fish biting as soon as we got to the grounds. Limits were nabbed early with Bob nailing the pool winning cod at 24 pounds. We also had a mix of conga eels and ling over the rails.
Next open boat availability is next Thurs 3/19 with a few spots left for Fri 3/20. Call 860 739-1882 for reservations.

Fri 3/13
Friday the 13th proved to be lucky for the anglers aboard the Sea Otter IV Open Boat out of Snug Harbor RI. Although the early morning started out slow, by mid morning we were marking fish and then it was lock and load for the next few hours. Nailed the limit by noon and then played catch and release for awhile. Mr. Yu was the lucky pool winner courtesy of his 26 pound cod.
Sat and Sun we are sold out but the next dates for open boat next week are Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri. Call 860 739-1882 for reservations or fro private charter booking.

Thurs 3/12
Plenty of wind made for a tough morning but by late afternoon the bite was on. Lots and lots of short cod and over 130 keepers over the rails. Ray the Puker was our pool winner with an 18 pounder.

CREDIT CARDS:
We now accept VISA and MASTERCARD for NIGHT and FULL DAY trips only when reservations are required.
A valid credit card is required to hold a reservation for a full day or night bass trip. By giving us your credit card number you are insuring a spot on the boat for yourself as well as guaranteeing us that you will arrive.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellation of reservations less than 24 hours prior to trip will be charged in full.
NO SHOWS are charged in full.
ALCOHOL POLICY:
Hard alcohol NOT permitted.
Limit 6 beers per passenger on full day trips.
Cans only. NO BOTTLES!
Up to 3 beers on night trips or GO DRY!
Drink responsibly!
Captain reserves the right to inspect coolers and cut you off at any time. If you arrive at the boat with a reservation and are inebriated and/or under any illegal influence you will NOT be permitted to board and you will be charged the full fare. Arrive in that state without a reservation - PICK ANOTHER BOAT because you will not be given permission to board!
Safety and a good time for all takes precedence.
ITS ALL ABOUT THE FISHING!!!
NO personal GPS/Loran devices permitted on boat.
We are NOT responsible for personal belongings left on vessels.
CHARTERS:
A 50% deposit is required to hold reservations on all charters.
In the event of unsafe weather conditions, the captain reserves the right to cancel the trip and reschedule to another date. The 50% deposit will carry over to the new trip date.
If agreement of a replacement date cannot be met, then your deposit will be refunded. Deposits are NOT refundable when the customer cancels the trip.
